The Gray Goose Inn's Easy Buttery Pound Cake

Ingredients

- 1 cup butter, softened
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 350f and butter/flour a 12-cup bundt pan.
- 2 combine butter and cream cheese in a large bowl; beat until fluffy.
- 3 add sugar; beat five minutes.
- 4 add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- 5 stir in vanilla.
- 6 sift dry ingredients together; add to batter and mix well.
- 7 pour into prepared pan and bake for 50 to 60 minutes or until cake tests done.
- 8 cool in pan 25 minutes; remove from pan and cool completely on cooling rack.
