The Gray Goose Inn's Easy Buttery Pound Cake

Total Time: 1 hr 10 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 55 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 12
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350f and butter/flour a 12-cup bundt pan.
  • 2 combine butter and cream cheese in a large bowl; beat until fluffy.
  • 3 add sugar; beat five minutes.
  • 4 add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  • 5 stir in vanilla.
  • 6 sift dry ingredients together; add to batter and mix well.
  • 7 pour into prepared pan and bake for 50 to 60 minutes or until cake tests done.
  • 8 cool in pan 25 minutes; remove from pan and cool completely on cooling rack.
