Tomato, Mushroom, And Mozzarella Pizza

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 2 (10 ounce) portions frozen pizza dough, thawed
  • 2 cups seeded and chopped plum tomatoes
  • 1 cup thinly sliced mushroom
  • 2/3 cup black olives, halves
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded smoked mozzarella cheese or 1 1/2 cups smoked gouda cheese

Recipe

  • 1 arrange oven racks in the lower and upper third of the oven. heat oven to 475°f
  • 2 roll out dough on a well-floured surface to make two 12-inch squares or rounds, and transfer to two ungreased baking sheets.
  • 3 top both squares with chopped tomatoes, mushrooms, and black olives. drizzle with the oil and season with salt and pepper.
  • 4 bake pizzas for 10 minutes, remove from the oven, and top with the mozzarella.
  • 5 return to the oven and continue baking 3 to 5 minutes longer, or until the cheese is melted and the edges of pies are lightly browned.
