Steamed Asparagus And Mushrooms With Danish Havarti Cheese

Ingredients
- Servings: 2
- 1/2 lb asparagus
- 1/2 lb fresh mushrooms (i used button)
- 1/2 cup danish havarti cheese (shredded)
- sea salt
Recipe
- 1 fill steamer or steamer pot with water and bring to a boil.
- 2 wash and slice mushrooms and place into colander of steamer.
- 3 wash asparagus and snap off end of stalks.
- 4 place on top of mushrooms in the colander.
- 5 cover and steam until the asparagus is tender yet still a bit crisp.
- 6 remove from colander to warm plate and immediately sprinkle cheese over top.
- 7 sprinkle sea salt over top using your discretion.
- 8 serve hot.
