Lemon-lime Layered Dessert

Ingredients

  • Servings: 10
  • 2 cups lemon-lime sherbet
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
  • 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup lemon juice
  • 1 (8 ounce) container cool whip

Recipe

  • 1 line a 9 x 5 inch loaf pan with foil.
  • 2 spoon the sherbet into pan.
  • 3 (sherbet can be softened in the microwave for 10-15 seconds to make it easier to spread).
  • 4 freeze 15 minutes.
  • 5 beat cream cheese until fluffy.
  • 6 gradually beat in sweetened, condensed milk and lemon juice.
  • 7 stir in cool whip.
  • 8 spread mixture over sherbet.
  • 9 freeze for three hours or overnight.
  • 10 cut into slices.
