Tossed Salad With Blue Fox Dressing

Ingredients
- Servings: 6
- 1 lb bacon
- 1 head lettuce
- 2 large tomatoes, sliced thin
- 1/2 purple onions or 1 onion, the size of a golf ball
- 1 (4 ounce) package blue cheese, crumbled
- 1/8 cup vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 dash pepper
Recipe
- 1 fry bacon until very crisp and crumble.
- 2 tear lettuce into bite-sized pieces.
- 3 slice onion tissue-paper thin.
- 4 chill all items while you make the dressing.
- 5 mix together the oil, vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper.
- 6 make sure the salad and dressing are well-chilled.
- 7 to serve, mix together the dressing and lettuce, and toss lightly.
- 8 garnish with bacon, blue cheese, tomato and onion.
- 9 serve immediately.
