Quiche A La Lorraine

Ingredients
- 1 baked pie crust
- 6 ounces bacon
- 4 ounces gruyere cheese
- 3 eggs
- 1 1/2 cups whole milk
- salt
- pepper
- nutmeg
Recipe
- 1 lay lightly sauteed strips of bacon to cover bottom of pie crust.
- 2 cover bacon with thin slices of cheese.
- 3 combine eggs, milk as well as salt and pepper to taste.
- 4 pour half of the egg and milk mixture over bacon and cheese and wait for bacon and cheese to settle then add the rest to within 1/2 inch of top of crust.
- 5 sprinkle with nutmeg to taste.
- 6 bake at 400 degrees f for 25 to 30 minutes.
