Slightly Spiced Artichoke Squares

Total Time: 45 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 24
  • 14 ounces artichoke hearts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/3 cup green onion
  • 1/4 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup oil
  • 1/3 cup fat-free half-and-half

Recipe

  • 1 heat oven to 350°f spray/grease 13x9 pan.
  • 2 to make filling combine cut drained artichoke hearts, green onions, spices, cheese, and eggs. set aside. (i usually use an egg substitute)
  • 3 for crust combine flour, salt, oil, and half 'n half. mix with fork until crumbly. spread on pan and press down.
  • 4 add filling to crust and bake for 30 minutes, until set. serve warm or at room temperature.
