Slightly Spiced Artichoke Squares

Ingredients

- 14 ounces artichoke hearts
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/3 cup green onion
- 1/4 teaspoon oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups cheddar cheese
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 cup oil
- 1/3 cup fat-free half-and-half
Recipe
- 1 heat oven to 350°f spray/grease 13x9 pan.
- 2 to make filling combine cut drained artichoke hearts, green onions, spices, cheese, and eggs. set aside. (i usually use an egg substitute)
- 3 for crust combine flour, salt, oil, and half 'n half. mix with fork until crumbly. spread on pan and press down.
- 4 add filling to crust and bake for 30 minutes, until set. serve warm or at room temperature.
