Quiche Lorraine With Dijon Mustard

Total Time: 55 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 35 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 9" unbaked pie shell
  • 1/8 lb sliced ham, cut into thin strips
  • 1/4 lb swiss cheese, shredded
  • 3 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1 cup half-and-half (light cream)
  • 3 tablespoons dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup finely minced onions or 1/4 cup green onion, thinly sliced, including some of the green

Recipe

  • 1 scatter ham and cheese evenly over the bottom of the pie shell.
  • 2 in a bowl, combine the remaining ingredients.
  • 3 pour into pie shell and bake in a preheated 375 degree oven for 35-40 minutes, or until a knife inserted into the middle of the quiche comes out clean.
