Spatzle

Total Time: 6 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 1 min

Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup milk or 1/4 cup water
  • 2 eggs

Recipe

  • 1 sift flour with salt.
  • 2 add eggs and milk (or water) and beat by hand.
  • 3 place dough on wooden board and scrape off small pieces or force dough through large holed colander.
  • 4 cook for approximate one minute in small amounts of salted boiling water.
  • 5 serve immediately or saute briefly in butter, adding grated parmesan cheese.
