Sorta Zagna

Total Time: 1 hr 45 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 1 hr 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 46 ounces spaghetti sauce
  • 4 cups shredded cheese
  • 9 uncooked lasagna noodles
  • 10 ounces fresh spinach
  • 4 small summer squash
  • 1 lb italian sausage, browned

Recipe

  • 1 put 1 c sauce on bottom of sprayed 9 x 13 pan.
  • 2 lay 3 uncooked noodles over sauce.
  • 3 spread sliced summer squash over noodles.
  • 4 top with 1/2 the browned sausage.
  • 5 add another layer of sauce.
  • 6 layer on 1/2 of the cheese.
  • 7 lay 3 uncooked noodles on top.
  • 8 top with more sauce.
  • 9 lay all spinach on top of sauce.
  • 10 add remaining sausage.
  • 11 lay 3 uncooked noodles on top.
  • 12 pour remainder of sauce over this all.
  • 13 cover with foil - bake one hour at 350 degrees.
  • 14 remove foil, top with remaining cheese.
  • 15 continue baking for approx 30 minutes or until cheese is hot and bubbly.
  • 16 let set 10 minutes b4 cutting.
