The Perfect Faux Tato/turnip

Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 4 medium turnips
- 1/2-3/4 cup philadelphia cream cheese
- salt
- pepper
Recipe
- 1 peel and cube turnips.
- 2 cover with cold water - add a pinch of salt and boil until fork tender.
- 3 drain well -.
- 4 add cream cheese (i usually pick a flavored one - i.e. onion, or roasted garlic) and mash.
- 5 return to low heat to allow some of the excess moisture to evaporate--stir occasionally.
- 6 add pepper and any other seasoning desired for flavor.
- 7 serve.
