Crouton Egg Casserole

Total Time: 1 hr 20 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 1 hr

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 4 slices bacon
  • 2 cups croutons, plain
  • 4 ounces cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 4 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • pepper

Recipe

  • 1 cook bacon until crisp and drain on paper towels. set aside.
  • 2 in the bottom of a 10 x 6 x 1 3/4 inch baking dish, combine croutons and cheese.
  • 3 in a bowl, combine eggs, milk, salt, onion powder and pepper. mix until blended.
  • 4 pour egg mixture over the cheese and croutons.
  • 5 crumble the bacon and sprinkle on top of the casserole.
  • 6 bake in a preheated 325 degree oven for about 1 hour or until eggs are set.
  • 7 cool slightly before serving.
