Triple-chocolate Mousse Cake

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup chocolate syrup
- 1 chocolate cake mix, 2 layer size
- 1 cup water
- 1/3 cup oil
- 7 eggs, divided
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 (12 ounce) can evaporated milk
- 4 semi-sweet chocolate baking squares, melted
- 1 cup cool whip, thawed
Recipe
- 1 heat oven to 375.
- 2 spray 12-cup fluted tube pan with cooking spray.
- 3 pour in chocolate syrup.
- 4 beat cake mix, water, oil and 3 eggs with mixer 2 minutes or until well blended.
- 5 blend in sour cream.
- 6 pour over syrup in pan.
- 7 beat cream cheese and sugar with mixer until blended.
- 8 add remaining eggs, mix well.
- 9 blend in milk and chocolate.
- 10 gently spoon over cake batter.
- 11 cover with foil sprayed with cooking spray, sprayed side down.
- 12 place tube pan in large pan.
- 13 add 2 inches water to larger pan.
- 14 bake 1 1/2 hours or until toothpick comes out clean.
- 15 cool on wire rack.
- 16 refrigerate 2 hours.
- 17 invert cake onto plate, remove pan.
- 18 serve with cool whip.
