Southern Sweet Cream Cheese Bites

Ingredients

• 1 (18 ounce) package yellow cake mix
• 1/2 cup butter, melted
• 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
• 1 lb powdered sugar (yes, 1 whole pound!)
• 3 eggs
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans (optional)

Recipe

• 1 preheat oven to 300.
• 2 mix yellow cake mix, melted butter, 1 egg, and pecans with a spoon.
• 3 spread in a greased & floured 9x13 baking dish.
• 4 mix all other ingredients together & spread over cake mixture.
• 5 bake uncovered for 1 hour 10 minutes.
• 6 allow to cool and cut into bite size servings.
