Strawberry Pretzel Bars

Ingredients
- Servings: 8
- 2 cups crushed pretzels
- 2 1/2 tablespoons sugar
- 3/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 (12 ounce) container cool whip topping
- 1 (6 ounce) package strawberry jell-o gelatin dessert
- 1 (10 ounce) package frozen sliced strawberries, thawed
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 375 farenheit.
- 2 in a lrg. bowl, mix pretzels, sugar, and butter. spread mixture in a greased 9"x13" baking dish and bake for ten minutes.
- 3 set aside and let cool.
- 4 in a med. bowl, blend cream cheese and cool whip til smooth.
- 5 spread over pretzel base evenly.
- 6 in a lrg. bowl, prepare jell-o as directed on box, except use 1/2 cup less water than advised.
- 7 add strawberries to jell-o, stir until mixture slightly thickens.
- 8 pour jell-o mixture over cream cheese layer.
- 9 refrigerate til firm (usually around 3 hrs.).
- 10 cut into bars, serve, and enjoy!
