Strawberry Pretzel Bars

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 2 cups crushed pretzels
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons sugar
  • 3/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 (12 ounce) container cool whip topping
  • 1 (6 ounce) package strawberry jell-o gelatin dessert
  • 1 (10 ounce) package frozen sliced strawberries, thawed

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 375 farenheit.
  • 2 in a lrg. bowl, mix pretzels, sugar, and butter. spread mixture in a greased 9"x13" baking dish and bake for ten minutes.
  • 3 set aside and let cool.
  • 4 in a med. bowl, blend cream cheese and cool whip til smooth.
  • 5 spread over pretzel base evenly.
  • 6 in a lrg. bowl, prepare jell-o as directed on box, except use 1/2 cup less water than advised.
  • 7 add strawberries to jell-o, stir until mixture slightly thickens.
  • 8 pour jell-o mixture over cream cheese layer.
  • 9 refrigerate til firm (usually around 3 hrs.).
  • 10 cut into bars, serve, and enjoy!
